Shipping Guidelines for Recycling

Please follow these shipping guidelines to ensure the safe arrival of your cartridges, cell phones, laptops, and small electronics at the GreenSchoolProject Recycling Center. We want to make sure that we receive everything you send us!

Green is Good! Please discard all white
shipping labels and only use the
GREEN labels to send your used
printer cartridges, cell phones, laptops, and small electronics.

Guidelines:

  • Locate a sturdy box that meets these requirements:
    • No larger than 20"W x 20"H x 24"D
    • Maximum 40 pounds when full
  • Pack cartridges, cell phones, laptops, and small electronics using the 20/20 Rule.
  • Fill extra space with newspaper and securely tape your box closed.
  • Apply a GREEN preprinted shipping label to each box and leave for your UPS driver or take it to a UPS center. Call 1.800.742.5877 or visit www.ups.com for locations.

Please note that you should not call UPS for pickup, since they will charge a mandatory fee which cannot be waived and will not be reimbursed by GreenSchoolProject. Please also remember not to send toner tanks, cell phone chargers, cell phone accessories, or extra batteries.

Because we always encourage recycling, please feel free to use any sturdy box that you may have on hand to ship your recyclables in. If you’re in need of boxes, please call us for information on how to obtain more at 1.877.882.5032.
