If your lesson is chosen to be published on our web site, you will receive a $10.00 credit towards your next shipment of cartridges. (A minimum of 15 cartridges or 8 toners must be submitted to receive the $10.00 credit.)
K-3 Lesson Plans
- Decomposition – Students will be active in this hands-on lesson and observe items that decompose over time.
- Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle – Students will define and give examples of these terms. Activities are included for a home-connection.
- Recycled Object Invention – Students will be creative in inventing their own creation from “trash”.
- Where Does the Garbage Go? – Students will get moving in this active lesson on comparing and contrasting garbage going into landfills and garbage being recycled.
- Classroom Recycling Center – Students will all be involved in setting up their own recycling center right in their own classroom.
4-6 Lesson Plans
- Decomposition – Students will be scientific in their observations of their very own landfill.
- Classroom Recycling Center – Students will work cooperatively to set up a recycling center right in their own classroom.
- Recycled Simple Machine Invention – Students will incorporate their knowledge of simple machines to create recycled inventions.
- Recycling Process – Students will research and present their findings on the recycling process.
- Recycling Survey – Students will interview others on their practices and attitudes regarding recycling.
7-12 Lesson Plans
- Recycling Program – Students will work cooperatively to develop, implement and market a recycling program in their school.
- Recycling Process – Students will participate in an in-depth research project on a recyclable object of their choice.
- Recycling Survey – Students will create their own survey to explore attitudes and practices regarding recycling.
- Recycling Debate – Students will uncover opposing viewpoints in the arena of recycling and waste management.
- Daily Behavior – Students will analyze their own behavior regarding recycling and consumerism.
